About
Hi I'm Naomi, don't ask me where I'm from (I'm a former military brat and that question is impossible to answer), but I have lived in Northern Virginia longer than I have lived anywhere else in my lif... e. I have been a graphic designer for nearly 10 years. I'm also a mom of 4, and I have multiple black belts in taekwondo. I love drawing and creating art in general, and I am currently painting a large abstract mural in my half-bath, simply because I can.
I am here to teach/tutor all aspects of graphic design, so whether you want to learn how to use the programs (Adobe Creative Cloud, Power Point, etc.) or web design I'm here to help. I am also open to advising on school project display pieces and presentations; so if you need advise on your poster for the science fair, or power point slides to go with your speech I here for that too.
What I love about most tutoring is when my students get that "ah-ha" moment and they start being able to do things themselves. This is also the sad part, because you might not need me anymore, but that goes with the territory. Hopefully, you'll want to learn more from me so the fun doesn't have to end there!read more

While performing this role I have designed animated mascots for events and
was recognized for my artwork when I illustrated the NGA motto into a large

Over the past nine years I have worked on various projects. These projects
have included: building w... ebsites from scratch, creating tri-fold brochures,
posters, flyers, small advertisements, logo design, wedding invitations, and
more! I also had the pleasure of working for New Revelations Collegiate
Mission, LP & G Cyber Communications, Pohick Episcopal Church, PHACE
Syndrome Community, Colonial Books and Gifts LLC, and many more!
While working for New Revelations Collegiate Mission I developed an entire
new branding system from scratch. This included: a website, logo, business
card, and letterhead.
The work I have done for Pohick Episcopal Church has included several
flyers, banners, yard signs, the redrawing of their cemetery map, as well as
the producing their country fairbook for their 2018 country fair.
PHACE Syndrome Community first hired me to help them create a tri-fold
brochure which was distributed across the United States and Canada. I was
later asked to help with an informational poster for their booth at the annual
pediatric dermatology conference in the fall of 2014, as well as a business card.
Other work examples include: a logo for LP & G Cyber Communications,
a new website for Colonial Books and Gifts LLC, two playbooks Gunston
Elementary School’s spring musicals, along with two T-shirts also for the
spring musicals, as well as logos and graphics for Umbiance Center for the
