I have 10 years of teaching experience: five at a 6A Title I high school and five at a thriving 5A high school. I have taught remedial, regular, and honors courses. With 10 years of experience teach... ing English to high schoolers of varied age, background, and ability, I have cultivated a skill set that can improve any motivated learner. From the basics of grammar and figurative language, to the complexities of literature and rhetoric, I can assist in understanding. Teaching is in my blood. I come from two generations, on both sides, of educators: two grandfathers, a grandmother, mother, father, uncle, aunt, and cousins. In our family, if you are not learning you aren't living.
