There are more periods of design that stand out from others, such as the dramatic Cathedrals throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and North Africa. European art is arranged into a number of stylistic periods, which, historically, overlap each other as different styles flourished in different areas. The periods are Classical, Byzantine, Medieval, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassical, Modern, Postmodern, and New European Painting. Every period is exciting to study.
