From a young age, I have always been passionate about Math. It was my favorite subject all through middle and high school. I love adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing numbers, solving equat... ions and inequalities, order of operation expressions and analyzing and solving word problems. In high school and college, I earned A's in all my Math classes and helped my classmates understand math. I helped my daughters and their friends through high school math, specifically Algebra I and II. I currently tutor elementary, middle and high school students in math. Hi, I am Lisa. I was born and raised in center Wisconsin, and am now living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. I attended Texas Woman’s University and graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in ... Teaching with a minor in Mathematics. I taught in the public school system for 7 years and then moved to on-line learning, both teaching and tutoring. I tutor elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra and geometry classes (elementary – high school levels). I work with individuals and small group classes. I enjoy tutoring math, especially Algebra. I bring a passion to math, teaching students several ways to solve a problem. In my on-line classes, I teach math using manipulatives, notes, and hands-on activities.
