I was in all honors and AP classes throughout Highschool, and often helped my teacher grade essays. I scored a 5 (highest score!) on both AP exams I took in literature. Hi! I’m Kayla! I am currently going to California State University, San Marcos! I am a kinesiology major, biology minor working towards my bachelors degree. Originally, I enrolled as an English majo... r, as that is the subject I am best at. I aimed to be an English teacher, and have a lot of experience helping others in the subject. I tutored, and was tutored for most of my younger academic career. I found this platform through a job application service, and I am looking to make money so that I am able to save up to move out on my own!! I love helping others, and I have always wanted to teach. I figured this was the best way to gain some experience if I decide to go the teaching route. As someone with severe adhd and diagnosed anxiety, I know how to approach learning in a way students with these diagnoses can better understand. All through elementary and middle school, I greatly struggled to find a way to “keep up” with those around me. I realized that instead of trying to learn like everyone else, I would find ways that worked better for me. I use these strategies to this day, in my college classes. I love helping and guiding others through school and being the helping hand when a student is struggling, as I have been that struggling students me know how taxing it can be.read more
