From a young age, I have always been surrounded by music and, more specifically, drums and percussion. I started playing drumset when I was only 8 years old and throughout my life I have developed dif... ferent styles of playing, honed my technique, and shared my music with others. During high school, I was the drum captain for my school's marching band for two years and played drumset in the advanced Jazz band for four years. I have mastered rhythm, technique, and creative expression. I also was the president of the Music Outreach tutoring club and was a private drum instructor. I feel as though drumming has allowed me to express myself in ways no other form of expression can, and I wish to teach others how to do the same as well. read more

Hi! I'm Jonny, an undergraduate student at the California Polytechnic State University. I'm originally from Danville, CA but now live in San Luis Obispo, CA. My passions include English, music, film,... and video games. I always find myself interacting with these hobbies one way or another! As an aspiring high school teacher, I enjoy seeing people I teach grow and gain newfound insights from what I am teaching them. Not only do I love tutoring and wish to continue doing it through lessonpal, I enjoy becoming one's mentor to help guide them through their life struggles and teach them how English and music can aid that those processes.
