Hi, my name is Jolene Pyronneau. I live in upstate New York and I attend graduate school at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I like tutoring because I get the opportunity to help someone comprehend something they may not know or understand. I attended Montessori school from Grade K-3. When I transitioned to the public school system I was not meeting teachers' expectations of the pace of learning, essentially, they told me I was learning too slow. During grades 6-9 I spent a lot of time with math tutors. I recognized their efforts to improve my grades and confidence.
