My love for reading has only deepened since childhood. I have taught students to read for over 20 years. It is so rewarding to watch a child pronounce a difficult word with ease. It’s such a great fee... ling to know the child is engaged and comprehending the material by inferring and analyzing. A good book is like medicine for the soul. My love for reading in all capacities exists because my parents instilled a love for books at a very early age. I help children want to learn how to read, continue reading, and truly enjoy it. My love for learning started when I was an elementary school student and has only deepened since then. I have dedicated my career to helping children develop their own love for learning with the inten... tion that passion for knowledge will carry them through high school, college, and beyond. In 2002, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Arizona in Elementary Education. In 2006, I completed my Master's in Education and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I specialized in Curriculum & Instruction. In 2002, I started a career at EDUPRIZE SCHOOLS (the first charter in Arizona) as both an elementary teacher and middle school teacher (grades 4th-8th.) I taught there for 10 wonderful years. I absolutely cherish the time I spent there. Nonetheless, I left with the intention of exploring new ways to impact education and found what I really love... working with students one-on-one. So, I started my own tutoring company.
