Physics, took 15 lessons
I felt very frustrated in my Physics course as the professor simply made concepts more confusing than Physics already is! Working with Jim helped me not only pass the class but understand the subject better and learn some tactics to process the information presented in the word problems. It was certainly a great help and I'd recommend his calm demeanor, straightforward problem-solving, and general support to anyone in need of a tutor :)

Algebra 1 and 2
Jim has tutored me for a little over a year and a half helping me mainly with Algebra and SAT practice. He has also helped me work on various Chemistry assignments and prepare for many tests. I appreciate how Jim goes out of his way to fully explain concepts and makes sure I have a full understanding of the topic.

Algebra 1 and 2
I have selected that Jim helped me out with Algebra (specifically algebra 2) because it won't let me select multiple subjects. Jim has helped me out with Algebra, chemistry, physics, and SAT prep. He was an amazing tutor, so much so that I continued to study with him for several courses! He was patient with me when I couldn't understand certain subjects, and helped me bring up my algebra grade an entire letter grade in one semester. He is also very personable; I genuinely looked forward to my weekly lessons with Jim. He also always made time for lessons with me around my busy schedule (I was an athlete at the time) and would schedule last-minute lessons with me if I didn't feel good about an upcoming test and needed extra help. I appreciated that kind of agility. If Jim is the tutor you choose, you've made the right decision.
