I’m a 4.0 honors college student pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Florida International University. The requirements of my major have facilitated the development of my strong mathematical foun... dation that underpins my teaching approach; and alongside it the techniques necessary to convey it effectively. I started tutoring for math since my freshman year of high school and have been doing so ever since. What makes my teaching effective is the fact that I empathize with my students. I take the time to not only learn their individual strengths and struggles, but who they are as people. Because by understanding both I’m able to curate a unique and efficient study plan tailored for each individual student. As someone truly passionate about math - as my major would hope - I know how to break it down and convey it to students in a manner they are able to conceptualize and appreciate.
