My Major in Junior College was English. I was a paid tutor in both English 101 and 102 and Math 100. This while I was attending junior college working towards my AA degree. I had to maintain a B+ in o... rder to be eligible to tutor students. My passion is reading and comprehension. By paying particular attention to content like vocabulary, spelling and word origin a student can get the most out of what he or she reads. I am patient and love to work with people. People learn differently. I have a wide range of skills to accommodate various learning styles and always have a smile on my face. I am a native of the Pacific Northwest. I developed a love for reading at a very young age. Growing older it has become a passion of mine to rekindle interest in reading and helping others find readin... g as fulfilling as I do. I tutored both college entry level Math and English while attending junior college and I loved it. I found my niche. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to tutor fellow students and classmates as well.
