I am a junior-level philosophy student at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. My particular area of focus is in ancient and medieval philosophy. I am currently working with an expert in ancient phi... losophy (Harry Ide, Ph.D) on an independent study in the ethical thought of Thomas Aquinas (in particular, the role of love and friendship in his eudaimonistic framework). I also have a basic grasp of metaphysics and an understanding of the basic problems of epistemology. My completed coursework includes Intro to Philosophy, Political Philosophy, Intro to Logic and Critical Thinking, and History of Ancient Philosophy. My current coursework includes the aforementioned independent study, Knowledge: Ancient and Medieval, and Ancient Philosophy (PHIL 450).
