I started learning GIS on the job as a wildlife technician for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game and found I had a knack for it. I went back to school in 2009 and got my Master's in GIS and never ... looked back. Since that time, I worked as a GIS Analyst for IDFG, an Enterprise GIS Sr for the City of Boise, and now run my own GIS consulting business, Go West Geospatial Services. I was also an adjunct professor at a local community college for a couple years. My expertise includes data management, spatial analysis, remote sensing, cartography, Python and Arcade scripting, and web mapping. I am very familiar with all of the Esri ArcGIS products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Enterprise GIS and dabble in QGIS. I've always been very involved with the GIS community in Idaho and really enjoy mentoring young GISers. My favorite thing to do is teach a man to fish, so to speak.
