I have over 30 years experience in package design. I started as a designer, eventually becoming a Production Director, overseeing the printing of all designs. I mentored and supervised production team... s. I have interacted with both clients and printers. This included the responsibility of traveling worldwide to printers, represening my clients on press to ensure quality control. In my role as Production Director, I was given the responsibility of overseeing, teaching and mentoring young designers to have a full understanding of how to prepare art properly for printing. Hi. My name is Francisco Tantao. My friends call me Frank. I don’t remember the first time I started drawing. I know I was very young. It just came naturally to me. At a very early age I knew that I w... anted to do something related to art. My mom enrolled me in as many art classes as she could. It wasn't until high school I realized I wanted to be involved in Commercial Art. So that is what I decided to study in college. I absolutely loved my coursework! Eventually I got a part time job in a package design firm as junior designer. I worked my way up to senior designer. Around this time I was developing a fascination with how design printed.
