I am a board-certified family medicine physician who enjoys teaching and tutorin... g. I have a Doctorate degree in Osteopathic Medicine, a B.S. in Biology, and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. As part of my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I have extensive education in biology, biochemistry, and human physiology. I also have multiple years of hands-on clinical experience. My first experience in working in teaching and mentorship was as a high school track & field coach. I was an assistant coach for 7 seasons while attending college. While in college, I was employed by the university as a physics tutor for 2 years. I then worked for a medical transcription company named Scribe America, as part of which I trained and taught new hires medical terminology, documentation, and basics of disease processes. I took a hiatus from teaching during medical school, but during my family medicine residency, I taught and mentored many medical students and junior physicians. I did 10 large-group (30+) presentations, more than 40 small group presentations, and countless 1-on-1 teaching sessions. I was Chief Resident in my final year, and I also completed a Faculty Development clinical rotation.
