I have studied Mathematics since I was little. Mathematics was and still my favorite subject even if I am in pre- medicine program in one of US universities in Michigan. I am international student f... rom Ethiopia. I came to America by scholarship for school purpose. Generally, in Ethiopia we have a world hardest education curriculum which comes from India. Though, I always had A grades on mathematics courses that I had taken in middle school as well as in high school. I have joined international Mathematics competition called International Youth Math Challenge on 2020. It had 3 stages: participation stage, pre final stage and final stage. I have passed all 3 stages successfully and became Bronze honored group contestant. I also took Algebra on university level, and I have A+ grade on it. As pre-med student it is not required for me to take it, but I have planned to take calculus on my course planning since mathematics is the most favorite and enjoyable subject for me. I have seen students struggling with mathematics while it is fun and easy to solve math problems for me. I have been wishing my peers, my youngers, and all students would understand math is one of exciting courses. I am majoring on pre- medicine and minoring o... n Chemistry. Since I am far from my home country and families, watching my childhood and Ethiopian TV shows prevents me not to be home sick. The passion that I have on exchanging and learning culture with others helps me to engage with a people around me. I have been mentoring since I remember. I hate seeing people struggling on something that I already know the solution. So that I have been always willing to help my friends as well as any student who asks me a question.
