I have been teaching for over 30 years in total and I have been teaching English Online now for over four years with a great deal of success. I have happy students who are moving towards their goals a... nd growing in confidence. I am married to an Italian, so I am a language learner myself and I completely understand the challenges faced when trying to learn a new language. I was born and raised in England where I became a Primary School Teacher (teaching children aged 7-11) Later, I became a teacher at an International School in Norway where the children came from all over the World, spoke many different languages and needed support with their English. Subsequently, I studied for and passed the CELTA qualification. This then allowed me to teach English as a Second Language to both adults and children. In addition to this to this, I completed a course (with Future Learn) which enabled me to adapt my teaching skills to teaching online. I believe it's important for my students to feel motivated and engaged, so, whatever your ability or needs, I will listen to you in order to gauge a starting point for you. I am interested in your interests and like to build lessons around your goals using a variety of resources in order to make lessons lively and interesting. I will provide homework activities, using different media so that you can then go on to practise and reinforce what you have learned. I will always provide feedback for this.
