I've had plenty of practice with writing, spending hours of my free time filling... notebooks with story ideas and now working steadily toward completing my first novel. And as a rising senior majoring in Professional Writing at Miami University, with my coursework mainly consisting of writing assignments, I stand at a 3.96 GPA and every semester have made either the President's or the Dean's list. Two of my classes focused exclusively on editing, in which I developed a strong knowledge of grammar and style. In addition, I have worked at Miami's Howe Writing Center since my sophomore year. In that time, I've gained extensive experience guiding students through the writing process and offering feedback on a wide variety of papers.
