I have experience working with students learning the alphabet. Helping students ... recognize the letters, upper and lowercase, knowing the name of the letters, the sounds of each letter. I’ve worked with students to help them understand how letters make words words make sentences. Showing students the letter itself, objects that start with that letter, whether it’s a picture or a real life object. When I read a book to students, I take the opportunity to point out the letter we are learning at the time. I’ve used games for letter recognition, learning how to pronounce words and recognize them.
