As a current Biochemistry and Molecular Biology undergraduate student at UC Davi... s, I've learnt firsthand how central math is to the foundations of science and have a major appreciation for the field. However, I also understand how challenging math can be. Despite my genuine enjoyment of math now, my younger years were often spent dreading the subject. I hope to show my students what I discovered, and show them how math is a subject worth learning and how exciting it can truly be. My goal is to tailor my lesson plan to each individual I work with, so that they are gaining the most from our time together. I have performed well in my math classes throughout my academic career. In high school, I consistently received A's in my math classes and scored a 5 on my AP Calculus BC exam. I am also currently pursuing a minor in statistics at UC Davis. read more
