Therefore, I gr... ew up learning, speaking and writing in the English language from primary to high school. During my tertiary and any other additional education, the English language was the medium of communication for all the subjects, courses and assignments Therefore, I have a high proficiency in English skills in grammar, writing, speaking and even my vocabulary is above average. In terms of my educational qualification, I have a certificate in the Teaching of English as a foreign language (TOEFL). I have a diploma in journalism which I have used to write stories almost every day. Then I have a first degree in Business Administration – so I have a rounded knowledge of business set-ups. I like and enjoy teaching and tutoring to share my knowledge and experience about the English language. And so I love reading different books including professional books. My English skills stem from my country - Malawi which has a policy that English is the official business language. It means everyone must learn the English language from a tender age. This is a great booster for my English skill set. So, I grew up learning, speaking and writing in the English language from a tender age – from primary to high school. During my tertiary education, the English language was the medium of communication for all the other subjects, courses and assignments except our vernacular and mother tongue language. I am a self-taught person as I have had to learn on my own for most of my professional achievements. These include my Master of Arts in Mass Communication and Bachelor of Business Administration. I also trained as a journalist now with experience writing for the global media house market. And so I continue to learn even today as I offer to tutor other students. I have already mentored and taught many journalists here in Malawi and neighbouring countries in Southern Africa.read more
