Hi Team - I have been extremely passionate about teaching from a young age and I believe I have the skills needed to be a successful tutor. Few Bullet points about my experience. 1. I currently resi... de in Wheaton Il; however I grew up in India whereby my mom was a school teacher. In the evenings she used to have one on one sessions with students from various classes. On her off days, I was a substitute teacher for students from various schools and grades. One of her high school students was very happy with her progress and I became her full-time tutor for the next year. That was my first foray into the teaching world, and I really liked it. I was a first-year engineering student at the time. 2. Around 3rd year of my bachelor's word got around that I was teaching high school students and next thing I know I am tutoring engineering subjects to my peers. This was a highly enjoyable experience and I learned more about different courses while doing the actual tutoring. 3. In my final year while I was preparing for the GRE, I again tutored my peers. I got the highest score in my college (1420) in my graduation year. 4. During My Masters in Missouri, I was appointed as a Graduate teaching assistant, and it was super fun to teach Control systems laboratory and Electronic Device circuit laboratory to undergraduate students. I used to implement the experiments myself first to check/ensure that I was grasping it - a good way to coach is to perform a self-check, if the coach can grasp the concept, then good chance his pupils will do the same. 5. My tutoring philosophy is to maximize your strengths and practice your weaknesses. This philosophy helps an individual becomes well rounded and, in the end, rarely has a weakness that can be a bottleneck for growth. 6.
