Hi! Most people contact me for math and Geometry is a definite "biggie"!

Hi! My name is Alan I've been tutoring all 4 major subjects (Math, Science, Social Studies, and English) for a while! But, math is of course still the most difficult subject for most kids. However... , DESPITE the subject, almost EVERY time, I seem to be able to make an almost INSTANT "connection" with KIDS! I explain - SLOWLY, using EVERYDAY words and expressions that kids ALREADY know and use EVERY day. I use COMMON objects in their home, usually RIGHT IN FRONT of where we are sitting - to EXPLAIN IDEAS. I use my hands to form SHAPES to create VISUAL examples of what I am explaining.read more
