I have been passionate about Science, especially Biology and Chemistry for the last 8 years. It was my favorite subject to learn and engage about since elementary school. I love learning about differe... nt organisms, ecosystems, climate change, and so much more. In middle school and high school, Science was the subject I excelled in the most. I received all A & B's within each class. 98 out of 100 being my highest score in my AP Physics class. I also tutored some classmates and friends who had difficulty understanding the concepts we learned. I am also a Biology Teaching Assistant at the University of La Verne where I aim to get Bachelor's degree in Biology. Hi! My name is Kira Annis, but you can just call me Kira! I live in La Verne, California and I am currently an attending sophomore at the University of La Verne. I am currently tutoring and assisting... within my Biology department as a teaching assistant here on campus. However, I can also teach and tutor students who are elementary through middle school proficiently. Personally, I struggled from an early age with my education and it adhered to my confidence in learning. So, through tutors and teachers assisting me, I was able to succeed. As a result, I wanted to pass on the learnings I've used to help other students who also struggle with learning (especially English, Mathematics, and Science).
