Hello! I'm Amelia (or Alex) and I'm a historian. From a young age, I've always been passionate about history, always hungry to learn more about it. From what I can remember, history was my favorite su... bject, and I always passed the subject with flying colors; a majority of my history teachers only had positive things to say about me. As of right now, I'm a graduate from Francis Marion University with a degree in history with a minor in literature. For multiple years, I've not only studied and researched World War 2 and the Holocaust, but I've made it my specific field of study, writing many papers on both subjects. I have extensive background in research, conducting oral history, and writing, as all of it is my passion. Hey! I'm Amelia (or Alex) and I am a proud historian. Born in raised in the state of South Carolina, I'm here to tutor people about history and English. In 2023, I finally graduated from Francis Mario... n University with a bachelors in history with a minor in literature. Although I am fairly new to the teaching scene, I'm excited to tutor those who need help; I've been collaborating with and helping others for about four-ish years in college. While in college, I've gained and honed the skills of research, analysis, oral history, writing, etc. My goal as a tutor is to teach students and make them more comfortable with history. Unfortunately, history as a subject seems to have a bad rep because of the teachers, personally, it depresses me to hear that as history is important.
