Writing has been a passion of mine since middle school. I have always ranked highly in writing skills, and spent my free time in high school editing my peers' papers. In high school, I was published t... wice in the G.K. Chesterton Society's magazine "Gilbert!" and graduated with awards for composition. In college, I worked as a copy editor for a publishing company remotely, on top of hefty writing assignments in all of my classes. I took rhetorical courses as a freshman and sophomore which gave me experience writing in many different styles. Junior year I completed a semester long project diving into the writings of the poet Gerard Manley Hopkins, presenting my final essay in the spring. Senior year, I spent the year writing my thesis and oration project titled "Given Not a School, but a Garden: The Intellectual Efficacy of a Life on the Land".
