The beginning of Tess’s 10 years (and counting) of official vocal training began with musical theatre. She began training classically at 15. Tess is a graduate of the Manhattan school of Music where s... he studied under Cynthia Hoffmann. She is now pursuing her masters at Boston Conservatory at Berklee where she studies with Dr. Rebecca Folsom. Tess has taken master classes from renowned singers such as Isabel Leonard and Lawrence Brownlee. She has also studied internationally in Italy and France. The world of performing arts can sometimes feel like a secret language. It can be extremely challenging with no guidance to know how to prepare for auditions, or what to do when you actually do get the gig. Having performed both professionally and locally, Tess has 12 years of experience as well as formally taught theatre etiquette. Tess has also been extensively trained in audition preparation. She has 8 years of personal experiences ranging from local theater to the country’s top conservatory’s and competitions. Tess has also had years of formal training on proper audition etiquette. Tess is passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment. She believes anyone interested in music deserves a safe space to grow and learn.
