I have more than a decade of writing experience, starting with my communication ... internship in 2013. I've written a wide variety of content in varying spaces, including nonprofit organizations, news websites and my Medium blog. I specialize in writing personal essays and thorough, in-depth feature stories. I have a master of science in journalism. I trained as a journalist with a specialization in magazine writing at one of the best journalism schools in the country, Northwestern University's Medill School. Prior to attending graduate school, I wrote petitions, newsletters, letters to corporations, talking points and op-eds for an activist organization, where I excelled from a coordinator level employee to a senior manager.
