I have extensive personal and academic experience in studio art. I took art classes regularly throughout high school, including graphic design and three years of studio art. I was also an executive bo... ard member of my high school's National Art Honor Society, and as a result of my membership in the (separate) National Honor Society, I also have tutoring experience. Currently, I attend Amherst College, a highly selective liberal arts college known colloquially as a "little ivy." I am a prospective practice of art and biology dual major with a flexible background. Artistically, I come from a background of self-teaching bolstered by formal classes, and drawing is one of my lifelong passions. I find that fine arts is not only deeply enriching on an academic level, but also a wonderful outlet for expression and critical thought.
