Hi! I'm Savannah and I'm a Southern California native who has a passion for for art. In 2017 I received my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from the Academy of Art University and have worked in various a... rtistic roles. I also have a background in concept art/visual development for animation.
I have been teaching art for the last 7 years to students of all ages from 4 to adult. I worked as an art instructor at two art studios and have done volunteer work for a few elementary schools. Currently I am mentoring a young woman in character design for animation.
I can teach you how to draw with pencil and color with different mediums: charcoal, oil pastel, soft pastel, color pencils, crayons, markers, gouache watercolors, acrylics and oils. my favorite part of teaching is explaining to a student how to do specific technique in whatever material they are using and seeing their eyes light up when they grasp the concept and are able to do it on their own.
Outside of tutoring I work as an art instructor at a studio and also work as a part-time freelancer currently working on a comic book. On my spare time I love to go to the movies and take my dog out for walks.
