I have played piano for 14 years and loved every second of it! I competed in many piano competitions, but one big accomplishment was that I was a semi-finalist at the Midsouth Fair Talent Competition ... in Southaven, MS. When I was in high school, I was an assistant teacher to my private piano teacher, so I got to teach make-up lessons for 4 years. In addition, I taught piano lessons at a music studio in Mississippi for about a year. I am a classically-trained pianist with lots of experience teaching beginner and intermediate piano lessons. I... have a total of 5 years of teaching experience with piano. While I have mostly taught beginner students, I do have experience teaching intermediate levels as well. When teaching, I usually teach out of a beginner piano lesson book, while also incorporating music theory activities.
