DIY attitude, professional quality. Hi, I'm Seamus. Musician, Producer, Audio Engineer. I started playing guitar at the age of thirteen and quickly fell in love with the instrument. Throughout my tee... ns I played in various local metal acts, ranging from thrash to black metal to deathcore. Driven by a desire to be self-sufficient, I started to learn how to record and mix music at the age of seventeen. After producing an EP for my own band, Relapse/Collapse, I started to work with other local acts in the Baltimore hardcore scene such as Nemesis MD, Terror District, and Cathedrals. While attending Towson University, I started working at Apollo Music Production, a studio that was based in Millersville, MD. There, with guidance from owner/producer Adam Iacarino, I spent the next several years honing my craft and working with artists such as Area 301, Veer, Iz'Em, Dave Tieff (of Laughing Colors), The Harbor Boys, Exemptus, Nick Ramirez, Earthworm Von Doom, Kyle Burcham, Nkem, and Early Dismissal. I also played bass with the band Legion during this time period, and engineered their releases. Apollo shut its doors in 2018. After college, and while in between studio jobs, I began experimenting with electronic music, releasing an EP and several singles under the name DREAMGLIDINGドリームライディング. After amassing enough gear to record an entire band, I began working as a freelancer out of my home studio and haven't stopped since. In addition to working in the studio, I am also the mixing engineer at Severna Park United Methodist Church, working on both the live sound and live stream mixes. I have a bachelor's degree in EMF: Radio/Audio from Towson University, nearly a decade of freelancing experience, and the drive to do whatever it takes to forge a career in music on my own terms.
