While there are some aspects of teaching and learning online that may be challenging, Art History lends itself more easily to online activities, especially because access to and viewing art pieces are readily available. Two-dimensional pieces like paintings and drawings and others could be viewed although true size of the pieces would be compressed. Three-dimensional and time-lap pieces could be viewed using online videos. It means an Art History student has the opportunity to read texts and view images in an online course and engage in acquiring useful art historical knowledge and analytical skills and develop intellectually.
