Hi! I am Jesse. I was born in Northern California and moved to Oregon when I was 15. After graduating, I went to college to study nursing, only then to find out that I enjoy teaching. I graduated with... a Certified Nurse certificate and a Teaching English as a Second Language certificate. After receiving my teaching certificate, I was offered a job in the Dominican Republic as a Language Arts teacher. I wanted to explore and learn a new culture, so I accepted it right away and spent 7 years working at that school. I loved every minute of it. I loved not just teaching, but also forming relationships with my students. A lot of memories were created during those years, and also a lot of growth with teaching and tutoring. I love seeing people improve and reach their goals that maybe they didn't think were possible. And I love being part of the process of helping people to reach them. I believe that serving people and giving them your time is one of the greatest gifts you can give someone, so why not do it in a well that is helpful to their growth in this life?read more
