I grew up in Qatar and attended a Lebanese School where our subjects were taught in Arabic, English, and French. I received multiple certificates of honor from my English teachers for excellent perfor... mances in their classes. During my high school years, I moved to Virginia, USA where I took English honors classes and graduated with straight As. Then in college, I took multiple critical thinking and debate classes where I passed at the top of my class, and was commended by my professors for my superb grammar and essay-writing skills. My major is essay-based, which means I have written over 200 essays in my 4 years at VCU and have never received a grade lower than an A. Hello, my name is Janna, but it's pronounced like Jenna. I grew up in the Middle East and lived there for about 11 years before moving to Richmond, VA. I have a passion for studying different cultures... and languages around the world. I am currently a senior at VCU, majoring in International Studies, with a concentration in Middle Eastern Studies. I also volunteer at the American Druze Society (ADS) as an Arabic Tutor, teaching children and young adults from ages 3 to 25.
