I have had a major interest in creative writing since I was a child. I took advanced English classes in middle and high school, and came into my college career with six credit hours of English already... under my belt, even earning a 5 on my AP English Literature exam. I studied creative writing at New Mexico State University, where I graduated with my Bachelor's degree. While there, I worked at the university's Writing Center, assisting students with all sorts of assignments. Due to the school's high population of Hispanic/Latine students, as well as my mother's second language being English, I have a lot of experience assisting students who are learning English as a second language.
