I graduated from the University of Iowa in December of 2019 with a degree in Eng... lish and Creative Writing. I have spent my time since college working on a book about my family and writing short stories. Currently I have a blog where I post stories and poetry I’m working on as well as movie reviews and blogs about my day to day life. In school, I learned to write in many different styles and about many subjects. I have been exposed to different kinds of writers who write in various genres. I am an avid reader who believes becoming a better reader is the key to becoming a better writer. Reading is often very inspiring and can be used as an example of how to craft sentence structure and tell a good story. In addition to my experience in creative writing, I also took a grammar class in college, something that wasn’t required for the major. I believe this has made me a more eloquent writer and I hope that is reflected in the creative writing I do. read more
