Uh, the first 15 years out of college,

I actually worked in the television industry.

Um, of that I spent a number of years as an editor

and working with special effects and things like that.

Um, shortly after that, I started moving over to interactive

multimedia, and then somebody asked me to teach a class.

And, um, well at that time it was QuickTime.

But shortly after that, I got also got asked

to teach a class and web design.

And, um, so began my 30 years as a teacher,

and I've developed a really strong reputation, uh,

for working one-on-one with my students.

And that's why tutoring is something

that interests me so very much.

You know, we all inter, you know, work

with digital technologies all the time

and they're key to us.

But sometimes, you know,

the only way we could really learn about them without taking

a full tilt class in them is to use tutorials

that are on the internet.

And those tutorials are really generally pretty good.
