I am Devon Faith English, a master, life-long teacher in music and German, wishing to tutor you in German (conversational, Level 1, 2,3), music theory, music performance co... aching or teach you on your violin and/or viola! Having grown up in NJ and graduating with a BA & MA in German, Music and Education from Bucknell University in PA, I headed west, teaching and performing in Texas, Utah and Nevada. As a public, private & charter school teacher, conductor, director and performer with over 40 years experience, I now reside in rural upstate NY in our 5th generation home along the St. Lawrence River. My passion is teaching students of all ages, in any situation! Since I am now working part-time in my retirement, tutoring gives me the opportunity to reach out to students who may live in more rural or distant areas of the USA, where they may not have easy access to private lessons or tutoring opportunities in their schools or communities. Along with being a "teacher from the heart", I am a mom of two married sons, one being a content creator on youTube and the other, the assistant principal cellist of the Helena (MT) Symphony.
