I have always had a love for reading instilled in me by my mother. I began reading before I began kindergarten and have continued throughout my life. I became an English teacher to instill that love... of literature in my students. I majored in English/Secondary Education with an emphasis in literature. Hello! My name is Cindy, and I taught English for 26 years until I retired recently. I have an autoimmune disease that made it hard for me to teach each day in a classroom, so I retired, but I still... love teaching, helping students, and seeing that "AHA!" moment. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Midwestern University in English/Education. I specialized in British Literature, but have also studied and taught American and World Literature. I especially love Mythology- both Greek and Roman. I also have taught writing and grammar, too, and am able to help in those areas, too.
