Since 2018, I have been teaching english as a second language to students all over the world, with all ages as well as online and offline. I use both of these qualifications together to achieve the best results for my students in a structured AND creative way. I am dynamic and adaptable and this is proven in the diversity of my students cultures and the fact that I have taught students with ages ranging from 6 years old to well after retirement age. Whilst teaching in the public schools of Vietnam, i created fun, energetic and engaging lessons to reinforce the grammar learned and to get my students to put it into practice through speech. Hi there! Im Chrissy. I am originally from sunny South Africa but moved to the UK in 2010. I lived and worked there for six years. Following this, i decided to quit my job to explore more of what our ... beautiful world has to offer. And this was the GREATEST thing i could have ever done. My travels have taken me all over the world where I experienced so many more walks of life than I would have living in one place. And I have actually walked through life (in April 2023 I completed the Camino de Santiago which was a 780km hike from France to Spain. I didnt stop there though, I continued walking and by the end of the summer I had completed 1598km through Europe on my feet) Another thing that my travels has done for me is enable my creativity and absolute belief in myself. There is truly no challenge that we can't rise to and, later, smile about. Not only have I seen so many places, but I have, both, painted and taught in so many places too; Italy, Vietnam, Malaysia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland (to name a few) Life has been my greatest teacher and the biggest thing it has taught me is that we create our own limits. So much of progression has to do with confidence. And this is my favorite thing about being a tutor; my approach is all about creating a comfortable environment where I can nurture and grow your confidence.
