Hi!! My name is Gianna, and I am from Apex, North Carolina but currently I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. I have a passion for a... ll things math and science!! I am a junior in college, a cadet in Army ROTC, and have a paid internship with Northrop Grumman. In my free time I try to see my friends as much as possible. Our favorite activities include rock climbing at the gym, going to the beach, taking hikes in state parks, and traveling to try new foods or do a new activity. I have helped tutor a lot of students over the years particularly with math and have tutored students with ADHD. I am capable of tutoring from elementary math up to calculus, but have a passion for tutoring elementary/middle school students. When I was in elementary and middle school, I was put through the gifted student AIG math and english program, which had me graduating middle school doing third year high school math courses. My younger sister had the same potential but was missed by the public education system and ended up behind in her studies due to a lack of teacher attention. My goal by tutoring students is to ensure that no student falls behind like my sister did and to encourage students to be the best they can be while keeping a fun and light atmosphere.
