I am a senior at the University of Northern Colorado with two majors, one in English and one in Philosophy. Both fields have required me to read and write to meet the expectations of many teachers and... professors. My specialization in English is demonstrating my comprehension of a text to an audience and evaluating an essay's argumentative strengths and weakness. My specialization in Philosophy is Ethics with a deep interest in various other sub-categorize. Hi there! My name is Brenner. I am pursuing a degree in English and Philosophy at the University of Northern Colorado. I was born in Southern Denver area. I started to love learning during high school... because all of a sudden, everything clicked. Ah ha moments makes learning worth it. I enjoy tutoring because when we both sit down to learn something it is just you and me. Classrooms cater to a wide audience where it is easy to get lost in the crowd. Having meaningful dialogues about important topics makes you a member of the academic conversation. I find that the best way to break down big topics, like World Literature, is to focus on a specific idea or author at a time for each session. This goes for writing too, but the goal is different. For writing, the goal is to produce a text that reflects what you know. I can help you as a writer by organizing your thoughts and strengthening your arguments. I enjoy going on walks in my free time if the weather is good. If the weather is bad, I like hanging out with my cat Freya, playing video games, or watching a movie. You are my priority; your learning goals are my goals. Many learners are either motivated by a grade or learning for the sake of learning.
