The thing that sets me apart from other AP Art History teachers is that I am also an art teacher and an artist so I can teach from the appreciation and aesthetic side as well. I have been a studio art... teacher in Georgia and Florida for the last 15 years, and have taught AP Art history for the last 6 years, including remotely during covid. I can honestly say it is one of my favorite classes to teach. Honestly, I failed art history in high school because I was so confused and was scared to take another class in college. While earning my bachelors in fine art half of my classes were in art history and I learned not only a new love of history but HOW to teach from my fabulous professors. I went on to earn my bachelors in education as well and I use what they taught me every day.
