I started learning Origami when I was 13 years old in 6th Grade, with how to basic folds. After learning the basic folds, my first origami model I learned how to make was a fortune teller. I also lear... ned how to make origami cranes which is an inspiration from the story of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes, origami gift boxes, and other various models to name a few. In college, my classmates and I made an origami crane mobile by using origami paper and yarn to hang the origami model. From that day on, I continued my love and passion for working on various origami art. Hi! My name is Arielle Domingo. I'm a resident of La Mirada, California. I graduated from Cypress College last Spring 2022 with an Associate in Science in Hospitality Management. In my spare time, I ... love to sing, make bracelets, collect pins & mini posters, pray the rosary and lead bible studies with my friends, and journal about my day. By doing these things, I feel good about myself. In my elementary years, I went to Kumon Learning Center for Math and Reading, and I learned a lot from my tutors. Looking back at those times, I discovered that I also wanted to be a tutor. My decision to pursue tutoring is because of my desire to make a positive impact on my student's lives. As a Hospitality Management graduate, I want to have the experience of welcoming my students and making them feel that they’re here to learn from me and at the same time, feel comfortable with me as their mentor. It is about showing good service as I focus on tutoring students and providing them with knowledge as well as a pleasant experience. This way, they can build their self confidence in a relaxed environment. I would love to help my students learn and succeed. My belief is that all students can learn, and each student is unique and has their own different learning needs. I believe I could give them their maximum learning potential by guiding them to achieve their personal academic goals.
