Experienced and Passionate English/Writing Skills Tutor

I began as a peer writing skills tutor and essay editor in college. I did this for two years and loved every moment of it. Altogether, I have a total of about five years of writing skills tutoring experience. I currently work for a more local tutoring company in the San Diego area, known as Tutor Doctor. Because I aim to make writing easier and more empowering for my students, my approach and methodology are very personable, laid-back, and collaborative. I find this best helps to ensure that my students don't dread writing and feel genuinely confident they can write academically on their own. Working as a tutor and ever-aspiring educator imbues me with gratification, humility and solace. Although it is a living for me, I tutor more subjectively because nothing brings me more peace of mind and pride than helping students succeed and thrive. It's also the most fun job I've ever had! It has been my life's honor to have overseen and assisted the growth and development of hundreds of individual students. I vow to invest and devote my most concerted efforts to each session and individual student I work with.
