I am certified to teach Elementary Education (K-8th), Early Childhood Education (birth-3), and Special Education (K-12th). I have spent the majority of my 18 years in education teaching students with severe and multiple disabilities in grades K-5, using basic American Sign Language to both teach and communicate with verbal and nonverbal students, ranging from those with developmental disabilities to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Each child is unique, and as a veteran special education teacher, I can help your child work on their current IEP goals, social emotional learning skills, or provide whatever support they may need in any subject. I can also provide enrichment through animated reading of books, songs about specific topics (calendar, counting, weather, etc), and other “circle time” activities that provide students with a routine specific to their online learning time. I also have experience teaching general education Pre-K and Kindergarten age students who need to learn routine, the basics of school, and need their education to be individualized as well.
