Passionate Music Educator

I've been a professional keyboardist for over 10 years playing in a wide range of styles to include: Pop, R & B, Rock, Neo-Soul, Gospel, CCM, Lo-Fi, Jazz, Funk and Blues. I studied Music Theory and Performance at Palomar College and Musician's Institute and I've had the privilege of playing in small to very large audiences. I initially picked up the piano to learn music theory but fell in love with the instrument itself. With it, I've learned how to write songs, produce, and direct bands. The visual consistency on the piano makes understanding music extremely simple. Anyone can learn the language of music, learn how to play by ear, read music, or pick up on their favorite tunes with a bit of proper guidance. My desire is to make my student's journey as simple as possible by finding out how they best understand and what their most passionate about!
