The peer support I offer is not a lesson. It is supportive active listener (me) who has a lot of lived experience with issues relating to mental health, parenting, abuse, divorce, addictions, etc....I am not yet certified as a peer support specialist, but I will be. I have 5 years of experience and training as an active listener on the apps Hearme and 7cups. I can provide you with an empathetic and validating ear. I will not give advice or try to be a professional therapist. I hope we can encourage and support each other as we go through and have lived through the same things. I want to learn what you have tried to use to make it through the hard times; what worked for you and what didn't. I will share things I've tried and what has worked for me and what hasnt.
