I have taught professional in schools since 2004. While attending Mira Costa College, I enrolled there to study to continue my education in child development to become a teacher. While there, my professors realized my talent for writing, which lead me to consider a new career path. I was hired by MCC writing/tutoring department to tutor all college students on the campus. I worked there from 2004-2011, ultimately becoming the tutor coordinator. I worked with English, grammar, and writing students who were international, ESL, in English labs, and even in classrooms.
My love for English writing and grammar lead me to a new career as a tutor, coordinator,and instructional aide in elementary, junior high, and high schools in the North County San Diego area. I have recently moved to Redding California, and finding work has been a struggle in this small town. I really want to continue teaching all students in order for them to strengthen their language, writing, and parts of speech.
